How it works
The workflow, examples and limits behind every tool.
Guest list ↗
Every guest has a unique ID and at most one table. Duplicate names are allowed and shown as separate guests.
Example: Twelve guests fit at two tables of six. Removing a table returns its guests to the unassigned list.
Up to 200 guests and 20 tables. CSV import replaces the guest list after confirmation and clears assignments.
Seating chart ↗
Tables move inside a fixed 1,000 × 650 diagram. Auto-seat fills tables in display order and retains existing assignments.
Example: With one guest already seated at Table 1, auto-seat fills its remaining places before Table 2.
Diagram units are not physical room measurements. Layout does not assess aisles, accessibility, room fit or guest preferences.
Table cards ↗
A table card lists only guests currently assigned to that table. Unassigned guests are listed separately in the workspace.
Example: Two tables produce two printable cards, even when one table has no assigned guests.
Browser print settings control paper size and margins. Use print preview before producing physical cards.
Save & restore ↗
JSON preserves table positions, shapes, capacities and guest assignments; imports replace the current plan after confirmation.
Example: Export a JSON plan, import it into another browser, and continue editing the same arrangement.
Autosave is local to this browser, with no live collaboration or cloud synchronization.
Local work, explicit limits
Each workspace reports its input and file limits. Imports validate the supported format before asking to replace saved work. Plain text is displayed as text, never executed as markup. Both languages use the same tools; the root address always opens in English, with Chinese under /zh/.
